How it works

The tournament is built around a simple rhythm: sign in, make picks before matches lock, then follow your position as results settle.

Use the sign-up button or open My Bets, then register with your email so your picks can be saved.

Match picks

How to select a prediction

Each eligible fixture has a simple prediction area. Pick one outcome, check it is selected, and make sure it saves before the match locks.

Every World Cup 2026 match counts toward the challenge. Predictions on other competitions do not count here.

Only OddsCalendar prediction buttons count.Bookmaker odds, operator logos, "Bet Now" links, and affiliate offers are separate promotional links and do not submit or change your tournament prediction.

  1. Open an eligible match

Open a World Cup fixture and find the prediction area with home, draw, and away options.

  2. Select your outcome

Tap the team or draw you want. The active choice will highlight so your pick is clear.

  3. Let it save

Signed-in picks save to My Bets and count toward your World Cup challenge ranking.

  4. Change before lock

You can change your pick while the match is open. After lock, the saved pick is final.

  5. Follow settlement

After the 90-minute result, your pick settles as won, lost, void, or removed here.

Ranking

How the leaderboard works

The leaderboard is designed to reward good predictions, not just volume. This keeps it fair when users miss a match or join after the first fixture.

Ranked by edge score

The leaderboard uses edge score, not only total wins. It rewards a strong prediction record without overreacting to a tiny sample size alone.

Accuracy still matters

Correct settled picks lift your score, and wrong picks hurt it. Strong, consistent picks can compete with higher volume over time here too.

Missed match

Skipping one match is not an automatic loss. Fewer settled picks can still make your ranking less stable over time as results settle and volume builds.

Tie-breakers

Close finishes can use settled picks, later-stage results, current streak, or entry timing. If first place remains tied, the prize pool is shared.

Scoring

Scoring guidelines

The challenge is intended to reward accurate match predictions while keeping the leaderboard fair for different entry patterns and timing.

Correct picks
A correct settled pick improves your record and can lift your edge score over time.
Incorrect picks
A missed pick lowers your record for that tournament window after settlement.
Missed fixtures
Missing a match is not a loss, but fewer settled picks can make your score less stable.
Locked matches
A fixture locks at or before kickoff. Locked predictions cannot be changed later.
Voided matches
Cancelled, abandoned, or removed matches are void and do not count as wins or losses.
Integrity

Fair play

Prediction tournaments should feel competitive, simple, and fair. The same standard applies to every entry.

The tournament rewards genuine football prediction skill, not automation, duplicate accounts, or abusive behaviour at scale.
Use one account, make your own picks, and keep your account secure throughout the challenge.
Entries that appear automated, duplicated, manipulated, or inconsistent with fair play can be excluded from prize eligibility after review.
OddsCalendar may review account, device, prediction, timing, and activity signals to detect suspicious entries.
Leaderboard scores may be rounded for display. Internal calculation records are used for final ranking and eligibility review.
If a result, settlement, score, or leaderboard entry is posted incorrectly, OddsCalendar may correct it.
OddsCalendar is not responsible for missed entries caused by device issues, connection problems, downtime, or failed submissions.
OddsCalendar may amend, suspend, or cancel the challenge for legal, operational, technical, integrity, security, fixture, or business reasons.
We may use account, prediction, leaderboard, verification, and payment data to administer the challenge, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Prediction tournaments are entertainment. They are not betting, gambling advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of any outcome.
Bookmaker odds and affiliate promotions shown on OddsCalendar are separate third-party services outside the challenge and leaderboard.
Any bookmaker activity is subject to the operator's own terms, age checks, privacy rules, and local laws.
